WATCH: Two men attack driver, break window in horrifying road rage attack

A disturbing video has emerged of an out of control road rage attack in Melbourne, which saw the victim “black out".

The footage, shot on Sydney Road, Brunswick, shows two men attacking a stationary car on a busy street at midday on a Monday earlier this month.

As one of the thugs realises he can’t get in the passenger window, he runs to the other side and with a few kicks shatters the driver-side window.

He then starts punching the driver Ali Al Khalidi.

Mr Khalidi said he was verbally abused and attacked physically for not exceeding the 40km/h speed limit.

“I was doing the speed limit and there was a truck behind me,” he said.

“It started beeping saying, ‘Go! Go!’”

He said he ignored them but at the next set of lights drivers from two trucks left their vehicles and began to attack him.

“I put the window up and they were like: 'You f***ing Indian, you f***ing Indian',” he said.

The pair broke through the glasses and began landing blows to Mr Khalidi’s head.

“I was receiving punches and just blacked out,” he said.

“I couldn’t see anything.”

“They will kill somebody.”

Meryem Kirmizi, a witness to the attack, was horrified by what she saw but managed to write down one of their number plates.

“We were really shocked,” she said.

“Like how can anybody be so angry enough to have smashed someone’s window and attack them in the middle of the street.”

Police are aware of the incident but are yet to catch the two men involved.
