Female jogger takes photo of man who 'flashed' her, gives it to cops

A brave female jogger who was allegedly flashed on her way through a park made the bold decision to run back and take a picture of the man to give to police.

The man allegedly exposed himself to the woman as she ran past in Melbourne, but the woman ran back and took a photo of the man before forwarding it on to police.

Victoria Police released the photo, taken by an unidentified woman in her 40s.

It shows a man sitting on park bench in Ruffey Lake Park in Doncaster, wearing a grey singlet and running shorts.

The man's hands are resting over his crotch, one hand seemingly covering a bit more skin than would otherwise be shown.

Victoria Police said the man did not threaten the woman but they encourage anyone with information about him to come forward.
