Vic woman kicked by pet kangaroo
A Victorian woman has needed hospital treatment after being kicked by her own pet kangaroo.
Suzanne McInnes jumped into a dam on her Eden Park property to break up a fight between the roo and a neighbour's dog.
But when she waded into help, the roo, called PK, turned on her.
She was taken to the Northern Hospital with deep cuts to her arm and stomach.
The dog was returned to its owners, while PK bounded off into the bush.
Incidents of kangaroo attacks are rare, but the marsupials can defend themselves by kicking out with their extremely sharp claws.
