Meterologist Jane Bunn joins Seven News Melbourne
Meteorologist Jane Bunn is joining the Seven News bulletin on weeknights in Melbourne.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Graduate Diploma of Meteorology and a Graduate Certificate in Journalism.
Raised in Melbourne, she has worked as a forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology, and she also has extensive experience presenting weather on TV for The Weather Channel, ABC News, ABC News 24 and WIN News.
Together with Network Meteorologist David Brown, who reports on the weather for Seven’s national news bulletins throughout the day, Jane’s appointment ensures that Seven News will provide Melburnians with unrivalled weather coverage.
Jane will begin on air with Seven News Melbourne on Monday December 8.
Jo Silvagni, who joined Seven News in January when Giaan Rooney maternity leave, will remain with Seven Melbourne in a broad presenting role.
Giaan will continue to present the weather report for Seven News on weekends.
