Melbourne couple on a high after rollercoaster wedding proposal
A Melbourne couple is on a high after a roller coaster proposal at Luna Park.
Craig Keenan took the adrenaline rush to new heights when he asked his girlfriend, Kylie Dalton, to marry him mid-ride.
Kylie, a self-confessed thrill-seeker, has a passion for roller coasters, so Craig decided to take the plunge, and pop the question on top of the scenic railway.
The bride-to-be thought she was enjoying a fun day out when the ride took an unexpected stop on the tracks.
Craig reached for the ring to ask that very special question.
Thankfully, there were no ups or downs before the offer was met with a resounding yes!
"What a surprise," Kylie said.
"I felt his heart beating before we got on the ride, so I sort of sussed it out, but this is awesome."
Once the happy couple came back down to earth, they shared the news with their family and friends.
Then the celebrations continued with Luna Park staff members who posed as patrons to make it all seem a little more real.
How do you top such an extravagant proposal? Lucky for Craig, he won't have to.
The couple plan to elope.
"We're going overseas but we don't know when," Craig said. "Now the chats will start."
