Two men have been arrested by special task force detectives today as part of an ongoing investigation into child sex abuse.
A 76-year-old Greenvale man has been charged with buggery, indecent assault and gross indecency in relation to incidents between 1966 and 1974.
A 74-year-old Boronia man has been released pending summons.
Taskforce Sano is charged with investigating historical and new allegations arising from Victoria's parliamentary inquiry into child sex abuse by religious and other non-government organisations.
The arrests are the first to be made by the special sex abuse squad, set up by Victoria Police.
