A woman has been charged with murder after Saturday night's fatal stabbing of a man in the Melbourne CBD.
The 43-year-old faces one charge of murder and one of affray.
The 46-year-old man was found with serious injuries following a fight involving a group of people on King St around 9.30pm.
He was taken to hospital and later died.
Detectives are investigating whether the fight is connected to an injured man found at a fire escape in a Melbourne hotel on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to a King St hotel after reports that the man had fallen around 3am.
He suffered serious injuries and remains under police guard in hospital.
The two men and the women are believed to be known to each other, police said.
Police added another man is also understood to be involved and they are continuing to investigate.
The woman was held over to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
