VICTORIA'S COVID-19 NUMBERS FOR NOVEMBER 5

* No new cases or deaths, for the sixth day in a row

* The state toll remains 819 and the national figure is 907

* Melbourne has two mystery cases to Monday, none in regional Victoria

* Melbourne's 14-day new case average is 1.4, down from 1.7, and zero in regional Victoria

* 20 active cases in metropolitan Melbourne, none in regional Victoria

* Two Victorians in hospital, neither in ICU

* Last active case linked to aged care facility cleared late on Wednesday

* One active case among healthcare workers

* Two active cases among the northern metro community outbreak (total 42)

* 43,335 tests processed from the area since October 20, 1634 from Wednesday

* 3,246,852 million tests since the pandemic started, with 13,479 in the past 24 hours

RESTRICTIONS

* Melburnians limited to travel within 25km of home but no restrictions on reasons for travel

* Strict rules around household visits - one visit per day by two adults and any dependents to another home but either household cannot make or receive any other visits on the same day

* Outdoor gatherings capped at 10 people but can include people from up to 10 households

* Face masks must still be worn at all times when outside the home

* As of November 8, the 25km limit and Melbourne's "ring of steel" to end with further easing of restrictions across many categories such as gyms, which are expected to reopen.
