VICTORIA'S COVID-19 NUMBERS FOR NOVEMBER 3

* No new cases or deaths, for the fourth day in a row

* The state toll remains 819 and the national figure is 907

* Melbourne has two mystery cases to Saturday, none in regional Victoria

* The latest mystery case comes from the 3023 postcode and was recorded last Friday. 22 people linked to the infection are isolating

* Melbourne's 14-day new case average remains at 1.9 and zero in regional Victoria

* 38 active cases in metropolitan Melbourne, none in regional Victoria

* Eight active cases from Northern metro region community outbreak (total 42)

* Two active cases among healthcare workers

* Three active cases linked to aged care facilities

* Two cases in hospital with the virus, neither in intensive care

* 39,100 tests conducted across northern Melbourne in the past fortnight, prompting authorities to declare the city is at the tail end of an earlier outbreak

* 3,216,016 million tests since the pandemic started, with 12,841 in the past 24 hours

RESTRICTIONS

* Melburnians limited to travel within 25km of home but no restrictions on reasons for travel

* Strict rules around household visits - one visit per day by two adults and any dependents to another home but neither household can make or receive any other visits on the same day

* Outdoor gatherings capped at 10 people but can include people from up to 10 households

* Face masks must still be worn at all times when outside the home

* As of November 8, the 25km limit and Melbourne's "ring of steel" will end with further easing of restrictions across many categories such as gyms, which are expected to reopen.
