Vic police officers charged with assault

Two police officers have been charged with assault over an incident involving a teenager in the Mornington Peninsula.

A male constable and a female constable have been charged with intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury, as well as two counts of unlawful assault, Victoria Police said on Thursday.

A 17-year-old boy also faces the same charges over the same incident in Somers in March.
