A woman and a teenager are being interviewed after police raids in country Victoria over the theft of calves and sheep.

Eight speckle park breed calves, a heifer and seven bulls stolen from a Yarroweyah dairy farm last Friday and were found on Thursday.

The sheep were stolen from a Shepparton saleyard on May 19 and are still missing.

"We know the farming community is concerned about incidents of stock theft and we want to reassure everyone that police take this issue very seriously," Eastern Region Crime Team Inspector Matthew Baynes said in a statement.

"We have a dedicated Agricultural Liaison Officer program which is a collection of more than 60 members across the state who have expert skills in investigating livestock theft and farm crime."

The Colac woman, 53, and Werneth boy, 17, were arrested about 7.30am on Thursday.
