Vic measles case sparks health alert

A measles alert has been issued for parts of Melbourne's southeast, after a man became infectious following a trip to southeast Asia.

The man, aged in his 20s, is being treated in hospital after returning from Bangkok on May 4, Victorian health authorities say.

He was not infectious during the return flight, but may have been while visiting several locations at Noble Park and Narre Warren, Dingley, Chelsea Heights as well as South Melbourne, between May 8 and 13.
