A man wanted over an armed robbery in Victoria has been arrested after crashing into a petrol tanker.
The 20-year-old remains under police guard in hospital after the smash on Friday where a suspected stolen car collided with a b-double petrol tanker near Camperdown.
The tanker ran off the road and the car overturned, landing in a paddock.
Police on Sunday said a loaded sawn-off shotgun, stolen goods and items used for break-ins were found at the scene.
A passenger in the car - a 15-year-old boy - was also taken to hospital before being interviewed and remanded in custody.
The driver, a Camperdown man, was wanted in relation to an armed robbery in Warrnambool on August 25.
Two offenders were armed with guns when they took a tin of cash and a wallet from a motorhome.
Police still want to speak to 30-year-old Keiarhn Carter over the incident last week.
Two others - a 29-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, both from Warrnambool - have also been charged in connection with the robbery and were remanded in custody to face Warrnambool Magistrates Court in November.
