Volunteers from over 50 nations have enlisted in Ukraine’s International Legion of Defense Intelligence following the commencement of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian military’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) reported on March 7.

The soldiers include veterans of special operations forces and other military units from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, and other countries in Europe, as well as Asia, Africa, and South America.

The International Legion took part in battles in all “hot” areas – in the defense of Kyiv, in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, and Donetsk oblasts, the HUR said.
