Fears are being held for two girls missing with a woman police believe to be “armed and dangerous”.
Natasha Hurtado, 10, and Lilianna Hurtado, 13, were last seen in Heathrow, in the US state of Florida on Saturday, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
A missing child alert was issued by the department on Sunday local time.
Police believe both girls might be with Di'Last Kellie, 32. People are being told not to speak with Ms Kellie if they see her.
“Di' Last Kellie is believed to be armed and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Contact law enforcement immediately,” the department said in a statement.
The department did not say how or if the three are known to each other.
Mum arrested after missing daughter found
In other missing person’s news, Jamie Moore, 39, a mum from East Orange in the US state of New Jersey, was arrested on Friday and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Moore’s 14-year-old daughter was found in New York City on Thursday after she disappeared on October 14 from New Jersey.
Her disappearance sparked widespread media coverage in the US with Moore claiming she was abducted.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens told reporters the teen was not missing and had actually run away from home.
"She seemed to be more so at ease where she was,” he told reporters.
It is alleged Moore’s daughter had suffered abuse. She and a three-year-old boy have since been removed from the woman’s custody.
