Urgent search for missing girl, 9, in NSW's Blue Mountains
An urgent search is underway to find a missing girl in the NSW Blue Mountains.
Officers were called at 8.20am on Friday about the nine-year-old girl who had been missing from a Mount Wilson property, about 60km northwest of Richmond, since the day before, a NSW Police spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia.
Charlise Mutten has been described as Caucasian with brown hair.
It's not know what she was wearing at the time she disappeared, police said.
A command post has been set up at Mount Wilson Rural Fire Service (RFS) headquarters.
"We've got the members of the RFS and SES assisting police from Blue Mountains Police Area Command, the rescue squad, the dog unit and PolAir," the spokesperson said.
The search party has "been up there all day".
A geo-targeting text message regarding Charlise has been sent to people in the Mount Wilson and surrounding areas.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au.
