Urgent search for two teenage girls missing in Sydney

Concerns are being held for two teenage girls missing from Sydney’s southwest for more than 24 hours.

Sandy Alsalihi and Elisa Coronakes, both aged 14, were last seen at their homes in Hinchinbrook and Middleton Grange on Wednesday evening.

The pair were reported missing when no one was able to reach them on Thursday.

Authorities and the girls’ families hold concerns about the girls due to their ages.

Sandy is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, between 165cm and 175cm tall, with a dark brown bob. She was last seen wearing a maroon turtleneck jumper, with dark grey trackpants.

Eliza is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 160cm and 170cm tall, with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with "Positive Mental Attitudes" written on the sleeves and black trackpants, but also may be wearing a black hoodie with green camouflage sleeves.

It is believed the girls might be in the Strathfield, Auburn or Burwood area.
