Scouts from the Unmanned Aerial Systems Battalion discovered the command post. Once the target was confirmed, fighters from the 2nd Artillery Battery “Martial Family” of the 2nd Artillery Battalion executed the destruction with powerful artillery strikes of 152 mm caliber, the report said.

The Russian forces are currently attacking in small infantry groups, and the loss of the battalion command is expected to demoralize soldiers and disrupt the coordination of Russian actions, the brigade said.

The brigade anticipates enhanced defense capabilities and the potential for counterattacks against Russian forces near Avdiivka.
