'What's he doing': Fighter's horror blunder stuns UFC fans
UFC fighter Spike Carlyle left fans in disbelief on Sunday when he committed one of the cardinal sins of his sport.
Carlyle was in action against Billy Quarantillo at UFC Apex in Las Vegas when he inexplicably turned his back on his opponent.

Carlyle appeared to think he heard the buzzer for the end of the first round after knocking Quarantillo to the ground, however there was still a few seconds left.
Quarantillo took his opportunity and seized upon his defenceless opponent, however he couldn’t land the knockout blow on Carlyle before the actual buzzer.
While Carlyle momentarily escaped, he went on to lose the fight by unanimous decision.
Fans couldn’t believe the Alpha Ginger’s first-round blunder.

Didn’t understand what Spkie Carlyle was thinking there when he just turned his back on Quarantello before the bell rang. Spike is lucky he didn’t get his bell rung before the end of that round. #UFCFightNight

Gilbert Burns stuns Tyron Woodley
Meanwhile, Gilbert Burns proved to the world that he’s the real deal at welterweight with a dominant performance against former champion Tyron Woodley.
“Durinho” rushed to the centre of the Octagon at the start of the first round and didn’t let up the pressure against Woodley for all five rounds.
He won a unanimous decision Saturday at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
With the win, Burns improves to 19-3 and extends his winning streak to six fights in a row.
Woodley drops to 19-5 and seems to have fallen off tremendously since his reign as champion.
