Uber driver's hilarious 'ride menu' for passengers
An Uber driver’s hilarious “ride menu” he hands out to passengers at the start of a trip has gone viral online.
Seattle-based driver George Ure wanted to make his passengers laugh and decided to write up the list, containing a series of light-hearted options for what sort of trip each person preferred.
The now-viral list consists of The Stand Up, The Silent Ride, The Therapy Ride, The Creepy Ride, and The Rude Ride.
If a passenger chooses the Stand Up ride, Mr Ure will tell a series of stories he finds funny.
“From prison stories to other poor life choices I’ve made,” the list reads.
“Don’t get a lover’s name tattooed on you. Ever.”
The Silent Ride has just an empty gap, with those choosing that option assumed to be driven in complete silence.
On the other end of the spectrum, passengers can choose a Therapy Ride and have Mr Ure dish out advice as they unload their problems.
There is also a Creepy Ride option where he will “look at you from time to time in the mirror” or a Rude Ride.
Mr Ure, who is also an emergency medical technician, said he was planning to change up the menus seasonally.
“I mean, the seasons change, the menu has to. You gotta keep it fresh,” he told Mashable.
“I have a lot of ideas, some are good, some are bad, most of them are funny.”
