Two high schools and a TAFE on the NSW South Coast have been evacuated over an emailed threat.
A NSW Police spokesman told Yahoo News Australia a police operation is currently underway after a high school on Lysaght Street, Fairy Meadow in Wollongong received the email on Monday morning.
“The school and surrounds have been evacuated,” he said.
“Police enquiries are continuing. There is no known threat.”
Students from Wollongong High School of Performing Arts and Keira High School were evacuated along with Wollongong TAFE.
A student told the Illawarra Mercury the email was about a bomb threat.
TAFE Wollongong posted on Facebook classes had resumed about midday.
