Two men are behind bars after police seized 18 guns in Melbourne, as well as cash, the drug ice and chemicals linked to drug manufacturing.
A Deer Park man, 45, and a 32-year-old Glen Waverly man were charged with drug and firearm offences, and dealing with the proceeds of crime, at an out-of-sessions hearing on Sunday.
The pair have been remanded in custody.
Police say they found one gun, a silencer, and the drug ice while searching the men's car after they were pulled over in Wallan about 5am on Sunday.
Officers then searched a Springvale factory, where they found 13 firearms and what is believed to be precursor chemicals.
Police found a further four guns and a large amount of cash at a home in Deer Park.
Two women, both Korean nationals, were also being questioned, Victoria Police said in a statement.
The men will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Monday.
