Two NSW women charged over SA heroin haul

Two women from NSW have been charged after police allegedly found four large blocks of heroin in their car in South Australia.

The women, both aged 45, were stopped on a freeway in Monarto, southeast of Adelaide, on Monday afternoon and a search of their car allegedly uncovered 730 grams of heroin.

The women, from Green Valley and Heckenberg, have been charged with drug trafficking and will face Adelaide Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
