Two more teens held after leisure centre vandalism

Two more teenagers have been arrested after a leisure centre in Nottinghamshire was broken into and vandalised.

The Dukeries Leisure Centre, in New Ollerton, suffered "extensive damage" with several items taken in the early hours of 23 June, Nottinghamshire Police said.

A 15-year-old girl was held on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage and bailed.

Now two more teenagers, two 14-year-old boys, have been detained on suspicion of burglary with intent to commit damage, while the girl remains on bail.

Police said one boy was arrested on Thursday, with the other detained on Friday. They have since been released on conditional bail.

The community leisure centre, run by Newark and Sherwood District Council, was temporarily closed following the break-in.

A police spokesperson said an investigation into what happened was continuing.
