Two charged over eastern Sydney shooting

Two people have been charged over the alleged shooting of a man in an eastern Sydney unit.

The shooting occurred on Sunday evening at a Maroubra unit on Marine Parade. The 37-year-old victim was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.

Two people - a 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman - were on Thursday arrested during a vehicle stop in Kariong on the Central Coast.

The man was charged with firearm offences while the woman was charged with being an accessory after the fact to the shooting.

They will appear at Gosford Local Court on Friday.
