Two men found dead off Queensland coast
Two men have been found dead in waters off Magnetic Island in north Queensland.
Authorities were called after the bodies and an overturned boat were discovered near Orchard Rocks Reef around 9.30am on Friday.
The Townsville Bulletin reports the bodies of the men, aged 53 and 66, were found by recreational fisherman at about 9.15am.
An overturned boat was reportedly located about 1.5 nautical miles from where their bodies were found, in Arthur Bay.
It is believed their vessel struck rocks before it overturned.
The men are believed to have left Townsville at about 3am on Friday, The Townsville Bulletin reports.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances and investigations are continuing.
