Horrific new twist after body of girl, 12, found in suitcase: 'Tortured'

WARNING - GRAPHIC DETAILS: Horrifying new details have emerged after a homeless woman was charged with the alleged murder of a 12-year-old girl whose mutilated body was discovered bound in a suitcase on a street in Paris.

Lola Daviet had had her throat slit and hands and feet tied together when she was found late on Friday night just a few streets away from her family’s home, as reported by France’s BFMTV.

It’s now been revealed that Lola was allegedly raped and tortured before she was killed.

Police have charged a 24-year-old woman, referred to as Dahbia B from Algeria, who was allegedly caught on CCTV with Lola outside her family’s apartment building on Friday afternoon.

She’s been charged with the rape and murder of a minor aged under 15, as well as torture and abuse, France 24 reports.

Woman allegedly tortured victim

The accused, who reportedly suffers from psychiatric disorders, was arrested at her sister’s home in Bois-Colombe, in northwest Paris, on Saturday.

Prosecutors claim the woman made “varying statements, switching between admitting and denying the facts of the case,” before telling officers that she brought Lola to her sister’s apartment in the same building, France 24 reports.

Dahbia B said she then forced the young girl to take a shower before committing “harm of a sexual nature and other violent acts against [Lola] that caused her death and hid her body in the trunk,” prosecutors also alleged.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, an investigating source claimed “the suspect had boasted about selling body parts.”

“Evidence suggests that the girl was taken into the basement of the flat, where she was tortured, and raped, before being strangled and having her throat cut.”

The numbers '0' and '1' found on girl's feet

Lola was found with wounds on her face and back while the numbers ‘0’ and ‘1’ had been written on post-it notes on the girl's feet, one on each foot, as reported by France's BFMTV.

A post-mortem examination concluded Lola had died due to cardio-respiratory failure with signs of asphyxiation and cervical compression.

Investigations are continuing to determine exactly what happened.

A 43-year-old man was also arrested in relation to the 12-year-old's death.

He later admitted that he brought Dahbia B back to his home along with the truck and two suitcases.

She stayed for two hours before leaving in a chauffeur-driven car he’d arranged for her.

Five other people, including the accused’s sister and those she’d had contact with immediately following the killing were also taken into custody.

Four have since been released.

Killer 'earned her victim’s confidence'

Lola’s parents, Delphine and Johan Daviet, had raised the alarm after their daughter failed to return home from school on Friday afternoon.

It was when Johan, a custodian of the building, checked the CCTV cameras that they spotted a woman with their daughter.

“The alleged murderer somehow earned her victim’s confidence and led her into a cellar below the building, where the attack happened,” an investigating source said, Daily Mail reported.

“She acted alone and gratuitously and defiled her victim before killing her.”

Locals later said they spotted the accused dragging a “large, very heavy suitcase” around while asking “everyone she met to help her carry it.”

“She seemed a little crazy,” one witness said.
