An Irish ice cream parlour has developed a new gelati flavour, but are you game to try it?
Gelati Enniscrone & Ballina in Inishcrone, Ireland, released an image of its latest concoction on Facebook – Heinz Tomato Ketchup gelati.
The store’s owner Michael O’Dowd told iradio the gelati is “actually lovely” and described it as tasting like a Bloody Mary.
However, not all Facebook users are enthusiastic about the new gelati.
One user said she was worried about accidentally ordering it instead of strawberry ice cream.
“How disgusting,” another said.
But others were a little more enthusiastic.
One woman said she “would die” to try a scoop. Another simply wrote, “yum”.
The parlour is rolling out the flavour while singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran tours the country in the hope he might come in and try some. The store’s also giving free cones of the gelati to anyone who produces a ticket to one of Sheeran’s gigs.

Sheeran has a tattoo of a Heinz Tomato Ketchup label on his arm and according to the Sun the singer reportedly requests his aides carry a bottle of the condiment on them at all times.
