REPORTER: The FBI has allegedly raided Trump's Mar-A-Lago resort in Palm Beach Florida, as part of an investigation into the handling of presidential documents, including classified information. Trump himself confirmed that the raid was unannounced and that they even broke into his safe. "My beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents," he said in a statement.

The raid allegedly began early in the morning and law enforcement personnel appeared to be focused on the area of the club where Trump's offices and personal quarters are. New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman released photos on Monday that appear to show that former President Donald Trump tried to dispose of documents by ripping them up and placing them in toilets.

When Haberman first reported Trump's purchased for attempting to dispose of documents and notes by flushing them down the toilet, a practiced staff said sometimes resulted in clogs requiring a plumber to fix. The former President sternly denied that the allegations were true. In February, it was learned that Trump had improperly removed 15 boxes of documents, some of which were labeled top secret from the White House, he then sent those boxes to Mar-A-Lago, his Florida golf resort.
