Trump wins North Dakota

Former President Trump has won the state of North Dakota in the 2024 presidential election, securing the Republican stronghold and its three electoral votes, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum (R) was one of Trump’s top supporters on the campaign trail following an unsuccessful primary bid, and Trump has signaled he would potentially nominate Burgum to a role in his administration, potentially as Energy secretary.
