Alina Habba, who also will serve as incoming counselor to the president during Trump’s second term, heaped fawning praise on the notorious self-proclaimed misogynist during a recent session of right-wing podcast The Benny Show.

Tate’s deep contempt for women—as well as his repeat arrests on charges, among other things, of organized crime, rape and sexual assault—appeared of little consequence to the attorney, who went so far as to tell the alleged sex-trafficker he was just “the same” as the incoming Republican president.

As Habba told Tate on Friday, “I think your anger is the same that President Trump has for our country. And the time is now for us to stop being wimps.”

She then went on, “I also have to say that I sympathize with you because I think you go through a lot of the same ‘show me the person, I’ll find the crime’ that President Trump has gone through.”

Habba then added, “There is literally only one person with the same amount of anger and fire. That’s probably me and President Trump. But it’s because you love what’s right and you’re being under siege. And I see it and just keep fighting, I mean I’m here for it!”

Her admiration was duly and enthusiastically returned by Tate, who said, “I tell you, when I… If I ever get stateside, and I think I will sooner or later, if I ever need a lawyer… I’m going to… I’ll be calling your phone.”

Tate, who has denied the allegations against him and said that his wealth makes him a target, is under house arrest in Romania as he faces criminal accusations of sexual misconduct in two separate cases.
