Trump goes off on Maher for ‘sloppy and tired’ attacks

Former President Trump slammed comedian Bill Maher, writing that the TV personality has become “sloppy and tired” and that his HBO show’s topics tend to always include the GOP nominee.

“The ratings challenged Bill Maher, on his increasingly boring show on HBO, is really having a hard time coping with TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME,” Trump wrote Saturday morning on TruthSocial. “He is a befuddled mess, sloppy and tired, and every conversation, with B and C list guests, seems to start with, or revert back to, ME!”

The ex-president, in the same post, turned his ire towards the Friday night guests on “Real Time with Bill Maher.” He said that MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle was a “dumb as a rock bimbo” while characterizing The New York Times’ columnist Bret Stephens as a “Trump hating loser.”

Trump said Stephens should find another job and suggested that The Times is a “badly run” news outlet.

“Steven’s should find himself another line of work because I am driving the FAILING New York Times absolutely crazy, and it is very hard, perhaps impossible, for a writer to write well of me without suffering the wrath of the degenerate editors who, with a push from the top, have gone insane,” Trump said in the post.

“They apologized to their readers in 2016 for their complete and total MISS, and they’ll do it again in November,” he continued. “The FAILING New York Times is a badly run “newspaper” that has totally lost its way. Put it to sleep!”

Maher, who last week predicted that Trump will lose the 2024 presidential election, told his audience Friday night not to laugh when he mentioned the second assassination attempt on the ex-president’s life.

“I’m being serious,” Maher said, according to Mediaite. This is the second time this happened. I said this before. There can be no fuzz on this. This is not funny! Okay? So. Okay. So, look, it’s not okay to wish it happened.”
