A Brisbane dad tragically found dead after going missing from hospital this week is being remembered for his kindness and gentle smile.
David Muller, 33, was found dead on Tuesday evening five days after he went missing from Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Herston.
Queensland Police said Mr Muller’s death is not being treated as suspicious. A report will now be prepared for the coroner. They were concerned for his welfare when the dad of two went missing due to his medical conditions, but he did not not pose any threat to the community.
On Facebook, people paid tribute to Mr Muller.
A woman, believed to be a co-worker, wrote he will “be truly missed”.
“His kind and gentle smile, his soft hellos as he quietly walked through the doors,” she wrote.
A friend wrote his memories of Mr Muller “will never fade”.
Mr Muller leaves behind a wife Naomi Chapman, and their two children aged three, and six months.
A GoFundMe page started by a friend of the family describes Mr Muller as “a loving and devoted partner”, saying Ms Chapman is “in shock and struggling to come to terms with this devastating loss for their young family”.
“Daniel will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him,” the page reads.
