Reports this morning say that Bruno Fernandes will watch Manchester United's clash with Liverpool from the stands at Anfield on Sunday as he closes in on a £65million move.

Chelsea have been encouraged in their pursuit of Timo Werner after he admitted he is keen on a move to England.

Liverpool aren't expected to do much more business this month after signing Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg, but Jurgen Klopp's side are being linked with a summer move for Kai Havertz.

Tottenham have pulled the plug on a deal for Porto striker Ze Luis this month, while Arsenal are looking to bolster their defensive options as they enter talks with Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa.

When does the January transfer window close?

Transfer deadline day is on Friday, January 31, 2020. The window will close at 11pm GMT, with Premier League sides needing to submit deal sheets before that time to be able to complete all of the necessary documentation on a deal after the deadline has passed.
