Tragic find in search for mum, 27, who vanished after leaving party
Relatives of a woman who hasn’t been seen for more than three months have confirmed her body has been found in her abandoned car.
Mum of two Natalie Jones, 27, was reportedly found dead in her car, which was discovered in bushland in Heard County, in the US state of Georgia, on Tuesday (local time), news site Oxygen reported.
Ms Jones was last seen getting into her hot pink 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier just after midnight after attending a July 4th party in Jackson’s Gap, Alabama.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation earlier said she left the party to drive back home to Georgia.
She texted a friend to say that she had “made it” home, but never actually appeared there, according to CrimeOnline.

Investigators are working to determine how long Ms Jones had been in the car, and if any foul play was involved.
Her mum, Elaine Jordan, said this week she suspected there was someone else involved in her daughter’s death.
“God, please get the people so they can serve their justice. My baby can't walk on this earth again. I'd appreciate it if they couldn't walk on it either,” she told reporters, according to the Valley Times-News.
She remembered her daughter as “beautiful” and having a “smile that could light up the world”.
A GoFundMe account has since been established to support the family with memorial costs.
“Natalie has been found and is no longer with us,” the page read.
