'This is how they bond': Touching moment boy sings to his baby brother

The touching moment a young boy sang to his younger brother has captured hearts across the world.

Nicole Powell, from Cabot in the US state of Arkansas, this week posted a video of one of her older children named Rayce holding their family’s newest edition, Tripp.

The boy can be seen swinging sweetly to the newborn while cradling him in his arms at home.

“This is how Rayce bonds with Tripp. He sings to him all the time. He swears this song is about him and his brother,” she wrote, noting the tune from country music duo Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber.

“He’s singing, ‘I’d spend 10,000 hours, and 10,000 more if that’s what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours. I might never get there but I’m going to try if it’s 10,000 hours or the rest of my life, I’m going to love you.’

“Love doesn’t count chromosomes, or as Rayce says, ‘Aren’t we all different?’”

The proud mum of five – who included the hashtags, ‘Down Syndrome’ and ‘Nothing Down About It’ on the video she shared – was praised online for raising such loving children.

“That baby has the most beautiful head full of hair, so adorable. Big brother loves him you can tell, so sweet,” one woman wrote.

“This is really precious and sibling love,” another said.

“Adorable both of them. You are truly blessed,” a third chimed in.

The video has garnered almost 10,000 views and 13,000 shares.
