Tonne of cannabis weeded from Vic houses

More than a tonne of cannabis, worth an estimated $4 million, has been weeded out of grow houses across Melbourne's west.

Victoria Police detectives raided properties between Monday and Wednesday in suburbs including Williams Landing, Point Cook, Werribee, Hoppers Crossing and Tarneit.

About 1600 cannabis plants were collected, but at this stage, no arrests have been made.
