A two-year-old girl is in a critical condition after her mother found her face down in their backyard pool in Sydney.
Paramedics were told the toddler had been floating face down in the pool in Seven Hills for several minutes before her mother pulled her out of the water.
Bystanders performed CPR on the girl before NSW Ambulance officers arrived.
A doctor and critical care paramedic from CareFlight's rapid response team put the girl in a medically-induced coma to stabilise her condition.
She was then driven to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
