Today's birthday, July 14: Australian author, journalist and TV presenter Antonia Kidman (1970 - )
Mother-of-six Antonia Kidman is best known for her work as a journalist, author and television presenter and for being the younger sister of Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman.
She was born in 1970 in Melbourne to Antony Kidman, a clinical psychologist, and Janelle, a nursing educator.
The family moved to Sydney when she was one and she attended Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College.
Kidman started her career in journalism at the Nine Network as a researcher for the Today program.
She then became a news reporter for the Newcastle based television network, NBN Television.
In 2002 she moved over to Foxtel where she presented her own instructional series about raising children called The Little Things, on the W Channel.
A year later she released a yoga video called Antonia Fitness Yoga: The Power and Style of Ashtanga, while also taking on the hosting role of In Entertainment on Channel 10.
In 2006, Kidman became the presenter of the popular lifestyle show The Bigger Things, which discussed a range of adult questions on love, relationships, single life and buying real estate, to name a few.
After several years spent in the public eye, she was awarded Favourite TV personality at the 2008 ASTRA Awards, for the second time.
In addition to her television and journalism work, Kidman has also co-written two parenting books - Feeding Fussy Kids in 2009, and The Simple Things: Creating an Organised Home, a Happy Family and A Life Worth Living in 2012.
The Australian personality has four children with late ex-husband Angus Hawley, who died in 2015 from a heart attack.
With new husband Craig Marran, whom she married in 2010, Kidman has two sons.
She now lives in Singapore with Marran and her children.
Kidman is currently completing a post-graduate legal degree while continuing to write.
