At least 18 people were killed as flash floods caused devastation in parts of central Bosnia and Herzegovina over October 3 and 4, according to Bosnian media, citing officials.The worst-affected area was Jablanica, a town in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, where at least 16 of the victims were found, reports said. Appalachian Bear Rescue (ABR), based just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, said the bear was struck by a vehicle near the city of Townsend.
