Today Extra host Belinda Russell's 'nude' outfit turns heads
Today Extra host Belinda Russell has turned heads with her on-screen outfit choice over the weekend, leaving many viewers wondering if she was, well... nude.
To present the weather report on Saturday evening, the Channel Nine star donned a matching long-sleeved top and pants set in a colour that almost matched her skin tone exactly.
With the weather map in the background, Belinda’s figure-hugging look made it appear that she wasn’t wearing anything at all — which naturally caught the attention of Aussies watching from home.
“My husband spat his drink out & shouted ‘Bub come quick, Belinda isn’t wearing any pants!’” wrote one surprised viewer on Instagram.
“Oops I when I saw ur video I thought you hadn’t finished getting dressed yet, I thought it was shapewear,” commented another.
Others couldn’t see what all the fuss was about:
“I can't understand the hullabaloo. It is just an outfit. You look good!!” wrote one.
“Totally bangin’ bod Mamma,” said another.

Belinda’s fellow Channel Nine star Erin Molan also piped up to praise her colleague’s style:
“Smoking hot GF - I want to wear next week!!!! Watch this space xxxx” she wrote.
Belinda herself took to Instagram to address the fallout from her eyebrow-raising fashion in a very funny way.
“Who wore it better? Never has an outfit I’ve worn been so controversial,” she captioned a composite image of herself alongside Seinfeld character George Costanza clad in a flesh-coloured bodysuit.
The mum-of-three told 9Honey that the majority of the feedback she’s seen has been ‘positive’.
“I would say 80 per cent of the comments have been positive, 10 per cent not in favour but not unkind and the rest, well, haters will be haters,” she said.
It was Erin who convinced a nervous Belinda to go ahead with the outfit in the end.
“I was a little concerned about how figure hugging the outfit was but my beautiful colleague Erin Molan insisted I looked hot, so as a mother of three who celebrates her curves, I figured I'll just wear it, and try to rock it.”
Belinda added that she’s definitely keen on wearing the skivvy-style top and trousers again but as ‘separate pieces’.
