Trio of tiny kittens rescued after falling down pipe
Firefighters have carried out a delicate rescue after three kittens fell into a plastic pipe and became trapped.
The trio, who are only a few weeks old, had become stuck in a plastic tube which was said to be only a few centimetres wide and about a metre and a half long in Italy.
The firefighters were very patient using smaller pipes and string to retrieve the little kittens.
The trio had been heard meowing by children playing nearby who told their parents who then contacted emergency services.
According to reports it took about an hour to free the trio, which were eventually reunited with their mother.
The tiny felines were not injured.
