The Tiger Woods Rehabilitation Tour continues.

Woods, just over a year removed from a catastrophic single-car wreck that could have cost him his leg, has traveled to Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a practice round of golf. The significance, of course, is that Southern Hills hosts the PGA Championship next month, and Woods is clearly preparing for another potential appearance in a major.

Woods shocked the golf world earlier this month by playing all four days of the Masters on a course far more hilly and challenging than Southern Hills. As with the PGA Championship, Woods did not commit early to the event, but waited until he'd tested his surgically repaired leg and ankle on the course itself.

At the Masters, Woods opened with a 71 and made the cut, but slipped backward as the week went on, and was visibly limping by the end of the event. He committed to playing the Open Championship at St. Andrews in July, but left open the possibility that other majors could be on his schedule as well.

Woods is registered to play in both the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open, but that doesn't mean he'll actually tee it up at either. The U.S. Open, in particular, would be a challenge for Woods based on the always-challenging course setup — but then, that was the conventional wisdom about the hills of Augusta National, too.

Watchful eyes at the course spotted Woods playing in shorts, with a compression sleeve on his right leg:

The last time the PGA Championship was at Southern Hills, Woods defeated Woody Austin by two strokes to win his fourth PGA and 13th major overall. The tournament was played in a brutal heat wave, with high temperatures hitting at least 99 degrees all four days of the event.

This year's PGA Championship runs from May 19-22, while the U.S. Open will be four weeks later at Brookline Country Club in Massachusetts.
