Girl, 3, who vanished from popular beach found safe

UPDATE: A 3-year-old girl, who went missing from a popular beachside spot in Western Australia, and her mother have been found.

Police say the pair were located ‘safe and well in Perth’ on Thursday.

EARLIER: There are fears for a missing 3-year-old girl who was last seen at a popular beachside spot in Western Australia.

The toddler disappeared from the Mandurah foreshore on Tuesday about 11am (local time).

She was wearing a pink and blue Peppa Pig top, pink leggings and no shoes when she vanished from the beach precinct.

The WA Police force is working with the Department of Communities to find the little girl and believe she is with her mother.

The woman is described as fair skinned, medium build with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
