WATCH: Three boys' incredible act of kindness caught on CCTV
Three teenage boys have been praised for their remarkable act of kindness after coming to the aid of a homeless man in need.
Szymon, Wojtek and Marcin, from Nysa, Poland, have been caught on CCTV placing a quilt over the man sleeping on a bench before tucking him in.
The three teens had been approached by the man earlier in the evening asking for help to find bedding for the cold night ahead, TVN24 reported.
Not wanting to see the man struggle through the night, they began searching the town before eventually finding a property in the process of a clear out.
They returned to the man, now asleep, and wrapped him up with two covers, making sure he was protected against the harsh weather.
"We took the quilt for this gentleman. We hugged him," Szymon said.
"'Thank you very much.' He smiled and went to sleep. I am convinced that it was worth doing. If someone asks for help, he should be given a hand."
And their gesture of goodwill hasn't gone unnoticed as the trio were summoned to the town's mayor Kordian Kolbiarz, who thanked the boys in person.
He said: "That's a big gesture. I bow to you. The world needs such gestures."
The man is said to have found suitable accommodation since the kind-hearted act.
