While Channel 10 tries their hardest to ensure their Masked Singer performers remain a secret until they're meant to be revealed on the show, it seems as though three celebrities have been outed before the show has even begun.
According to New Idea, singer Dami Im is set to appear on the show alongside comedian Tommy Little and Neighbours star Madeleine West.
Dami has previously performed on the Korean version of the show, where she was dressed up as the Statue of Liberty.
According to Daily Mail, Madeleine and Tommy would make sense because they're already employed by Channel 10.
On social media, people are eagerly guessing who they think will appear on the show.
Some viewers have guessed that Dami may be the Dragonfly, whose clue was, "I may be classically trained, but I'm famous for some other moves."
One fan wrote, "Dami Im!! Singer/Songwriter/Musician - Degree in Music for classical piano and Masters Degree in Voice, has been on [Dancing With the Stars] with 'some other moves'."
However, one user also guessed that it could be Emma Watkins AKA Emma Wiggle, the yellow Wiggle.
The Frillneck Lizard clue reveals, "I've always been a stand-up guy, who hangs with birds of a feather," which had one fan guessing, "Sam Pang. Hanging with Chrissy Swan."
Sam also works for Channel 10 already, so it could be him.
When it came to the Hammerhead Shark, people began guessing surfer Mick Fanning, who famously punched a shark. However, the fact he's dressed in tradie gear had others guessing Scotty Cam.
Some fans have also guessed Ruby Rose, Shannon Noll, Danny Green, Adam Goodes, and Jason Donovan among others will appear on the show.
Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes and Jackie O Henderson are returning to the show as judges, but sadly, Lindsay Lohan will be unable to fly to Australia for the show due to coronavirus border restrictions and has been replaced by comedian Urzila Carlson. Osher Gunsberg will also be returning as host.
'Over the top' coronavirus measures
As Melbourne heads into stage-4 lockdown restrictions, The Masked Singer has implemented ‘over the top’ safety precautions to make sure the show can go on.
Jackie 'O' Henderson is a judge on the show and has opened up about some of the rules she and fellow judges have to follow during filming.
On The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday Jackie said the new COVID restrictions are “so over the top” and there is “a lot of sanitising going on”.
“When I finished Masked Singer last year, we'd probably finished at around 10pm. [This year] we're going until two in the morning,” she told listeners.
“We have a Zoom audience at home of super-fans, so we have to wait for them to vote.”
She also revealed there are screens between judges.
“People can't be near each other, we've got partitions in between us. There's a lot of stuff going on. We can't even stand next to one another,” she said, adding you “just couldn't get any stricter”.
The show begins on Monday August 10 at 7:30pm.
