A third man has been charged for allegedly concealing information about the stabbing murder of a 49-year-old NSW South Coast man earlier this year.

Emergency services were called to a caravan park at Sanctuary Point on the evening of July 25 and found David McArthur with a stab wound to his chest.

Police say they administered CPR but he died at the scene.

Two men have previously been charged over their alleged involvement in the murder and remain before the courts.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in Nowra on Tuesday and was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with concealing a serious indictable offence.

Police will allege in court the man was at the caravan park with two other men on the night of the alleged murder, and subsequently failed to help investigators.

The Nowra man was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court on Wednesday.
