The high-priced escort accused of injecting a high-ranking Google executive with a fatal dose of heroin is now being implicated in the death of her former boyfirend, who also died of a drug overdose.

American TV station WSB-TV2 is reporting that police in Milton, Georgia are reopening the investigation of Dean Riopelle, who died of an overdose of heroin, oxycodone and alcohol.

WSB-TV2 quoted an investigator who said Tichelman called police after discovering Riopelle unconscious on the floor of his home.

Milton Police Department Captain Shawn McCarty said while it was still conjecture, the similarity of the two deaths meant they would look at the case again.

"Both subjects in these cases died of heroin overdoses so there's just several factors we want to look at to make sure that we didn't miss anything," he said.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle Riopelle was part of a band called Impotent Sea Snakes.

The Chronicle spoke to the band's Facebook administrator Michael Lacy, who said Riopelle feared Tichelman towards the end of theer relationship.

"He even tried to stop her from going to his own club," Lacy said.
