A New Zealand woman who had a disagreement with her engagement party's cake maker has received a less-than-pleasant surprise.
Micaela Harris apparently had a cake ready for her engagement party in December, but says her sister was willing to go the extra mile and organise a second one.
However, her sister seemed to have a disagreement with Emma McDonald, the owner of Oh Cakes. This was where the fun began as McDonald decided to give the bride-to-be a special piece of poopy pie.
"It was a weird situation," Harris told Stuff of the moment the cake was opened up in front of over 100 guests.
"At the time my sister didn't even know what was going on," Harris added.
"I think it [the disagreement] was taken too far. As a business owner you come across customers you don't like but you have got to take the highs and the lows, got to suck it up."
McDonald posted media coverage of her daring stunt to her Facebook page, adding that it has been a messy blessing in disguise.
"Nothing really negative that I've seen apart from a few who didn't read and understand it properly. Seems to be popping up everywhere... business opportunities have been thrown my way as well."
"I feel [Harris] got what she deserved," she said.
