Film bosses have approached five former James Bond stars in attempt to bring them together for an ensemble action movie.

Former 007 actor Sir Roger Moore has revealed that movie chiefs are trying to line him up alongside 84-year-old Sir Sean Connery, George Lazenby, 75, Timothy Dalton, 71 and 62-year-old Pierce Brosnan.

Moore insists he is keen to sign up but Connery is proving more difficult to get on board.

“I’d be up for (the movie). But Sean baulked at the idea as I don’t think he wants to be associated with Bond any more. But I’d need about 10 stunt doubles,” Moore told Britain’s The Sun newspaper.

The proposed movie is believed to boast a similar format to action film franchise The Expendables, which has featured a host of veteran Hollywood hard men including Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
